Colourful Beef Soup Pasta

Getting lazier with cooking due to busy schedule, I find myself having to be more and more creative with my dinner preparation in providing a nutritious meal in the shortest time possible.

Hence, this is where I decided to use colourful spiral pasta cooked with my stocked up ‘Seollengtang’ aka beef bone soup which resulted in a nutritious meal where my picky eater finished up within minutes and asked for a second helping 😍 what more can a mother asked for 😊


  • 350gm minced beef


  • 250gm pasta – here I use the spiral pasta


  • 1 onion – sliced thinly


  • 4 stalks of celery – cut small


  • 1 pack of mushroom – cut small


  • 3 tablespoon of olive oil
  • 1.5 liter of beef bone stock (Seolleongtang) – prepared in advance and stock up in the freezer
  • Salt and pepper to taste


  1. Cook the pasta according to the packet instruction. Drain and set aside
  2. In the wok, heat the olive oil
  3. Sautéed the onion until it is soft
  4. Add in the mushroom and sauté for 3 minutes
  5. Add in the beef and fry until beef is cook
  6. Add in the cooked pasta and mix well
  7. Add in the beef bone stock and bring to boil
  8. Season accordingly with salt and pepper
  9. Served hot
