Baek Ji Young (백지영), a talented Korean Female Singer

In my part of the world, Baek Ji Young (백지영), a talented female singer from South Korean may not be very known apart from her powerful voice that is heard in some of the popular korean drama OST.

So imagine my excitement when a very good friend of mine recently suddenly spoke about her and shared her songs with me. Here today, I would like to share some of my favorite song from this beautiful yet talented singer while introducing her briefly to those whom may not be aware of her talent.

Baek Ji Young (백지영) began her music career back in 1999 with korean pop songs with latin beats which brings her status up as one of the most popular female artist back then. I however got introduced to her powerful voice back in 2006 with the released of her album, Smile Again which features her first ballad single titled : I Won’t Love (사랑 안해), a song that I feel in loved with and was on my playlist for several months after that.

Her next single that hit #1 spot was Like Being Hit by a Bullet (총 맞은 것처럼), a mid-tempo ballad that brings out the new powerful voice after her vocal cord surgery back in 2008.

Below, sharing some of my favorite songs:

Baek Ji Young (백지영) may have many controversy in the past surrounding her, however, this fan of hers will continue to support her music being her single, full album or even just OST. Looking forward to the release of her new ballad album as the article released by allkpop earlier today : ‘Queen of Ballads’ Baek Ji Young to come back in February!. I know that I am excited! Are you?
