Bang Bang Prawn Pasta

Been a while since I shared any recipe on this blog. Since I made the decision to head back to work full time, it have been hard to even find time to experiment new recipes. 

Recently, my colleague and I decided to bring home cook lunch instead of eating out. So we take turns to cook and enjoy quiet moments of catching up while enjoying the home cook meals prepared for the day 😉 

So today, I decided to test out a new recipe that I recently came across only via   Bang Bang Pasta. In short, we ❤️ it! Guess this adapted recipe is here to stay 😍


  • 1 lb of spaghetti or your favorite pasta of choice
  • 1 1/2 lbs of medium shrimp, peeled and deveined (or 1 pound boneless chicken, chopped)
  • 1 1/2 Tablespoons olive oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 Tablespoon dried parsley
  • Black pepper to taste

For the Sauce

  • 1/2 cup of mayonnaise
  • 1/2 cup Thai sweet chili sauce (in the asian isle)
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 Tablespoons of lime juice
  • 1/2 tablespoon onion powder


  1. In a large bowl, mix all ‘sauce’ ingredients together then set aside
  2. Cook pasta, drain
  3. In a large skillet, on medium high heat, sauté the garlic with the oil
  4. Add shrimp 
  5. Stir constantly while cooking until prawns is cooked – about 5 minutes
  6. Add in the paste and stir well
  7. Add in the prepared sauce and mix well
  8. Add in the parsley and serve hot
