Homemade Garlic Herb 🌿 Dinner Rolls

I love ❤️ herbs! The smell of herbs in the kitchen are simply awesome.

Today decided to bake some garlic herb rolls for dinner. Surprisingly it was a hit with the family especially my little fussy eater 😍

This recipe is adapted from Homemade Garlic Herb Dinner Rolls

Ingredients

  • 1 cup warm milk
  • 11gm instant yeast
  • 115gm softened butter
  • 70gm brown sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon parsley 
  • 1 teaspoon thyme
  • 1 teaspoon dill
  • 100gm wholemeal flour
  • 400gm self-raising flour / medium protein flour

Garlic Butter

  • 100gm butter melted
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon parsley
  • 1 teaspoon dill 

Method

  1. In the mixing bowl, add all ingredients together
  2. Using dough hook, mix until smooth but slightly sticky
  3. Place in greased bowl and cover with plastic wrap
  4. Leave to raise in a warm place for 60 – 90 minutes
  5. Lightly greased the pan. Roll the dough into 12 or 14 pieces
  6. Place in pan and cover. Leave to raise for another 30 minutes or till double in size
  7. Heat oven to 180c
  8. Bake for 20 – 25 minutes until medium golden brown

Garlic Butter

  1. Stir all ingredients together
  2. Brush over the freshly baked buns when it is still warm


Note : These freeze well. So you can make them and freeze them for later use 😉
